Curriculum

Curriculum is everything we do.

Students with intellectual disabilities require a curriculum responsive to their needs, developmental stages, strengths and interests. We work alongside parents, caregivers and support staff to provide highly individualised programs. Curriculum is woven through the fabric of our life together: in any interaction, activity or program; in understanding when a students needs space, support and time; and when they are trying to tell us something.

"Curriculum wraps around the individual student and it beholds us all to know that all of our students are all of our business all of the time." Mary Jacquier

The teaching and learning at Our Lady of La Vang is based on the outcomes of The Early Years Learning Framework: Belonging, Being, Becoming.

Why we value what we do.
