Conversations with Families ~ setting goals together

At the beginning of each year teachers meet with families and caregivers, to develop goals for the students. These goals guide us in working with the students as learners. They are developed around the outcomes of Belonging, Being and Becoming ~The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia: • Students have a strong sense of identity • Students are connected with and contribute to their world • Students have a strong sense of wellbeing • Students are confident and involved learners • Students are effective communicators.

These goals are used by the teachers to shape assessment and reporting processes. Ongoing conversations with parents and caregivers, learning stories and an end of the year report provide insights into student’s learning experiences and progression over the year. Effective communication with parents and caregivers is valued.

Why we value what we do.

"I have come that you may have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10)
